Business Solutions and Consulting S.A.S., which operates the AtaraxIA IT brand, adopts this policy in compliance with Colombian Statutory Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 (which compiled Decree 1377 of 2013) and the rules that complement or amend them. It explains which data we process, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
This document is published in several languages for your convenience. In case of any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

2. Definitions
- Personal data: any information that identifies or can identify a natural person.
- Data subject: the natural person the data refers to.
- Processing: any operation on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, circulation or deletion.
- Controller: whoever decides on the database and its processing; in this case, AtaraxIA IT.
- Processor: whoever processes data on behalf of the controller, for example a cloud service provider.
- Authorization: the prior, express and informed consent of the data subject.
- Transfer and transmission: sending data to another controller (transfer) or to a processor (transmission), inside or outside Colombia.
3. Data we process
- Contact and quote forms: name or company name, email, phone (optional), service of interest and the message you write.
- Job applications: the data you send us by email when applying for a vacancy (name, contact details, résumé and message).
- Direct communications by email, phone or WhatsApp: the data you choose to share with us.
- Conversations with our virtual assistant (AtaraxIA Conversa): the messages you type in the site chat and, if you choose to leave them, your name, email and phone number.
- Technical data: the approximate country you connect from, which our content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront) infers from your IP address and which we use only to show you the site in your language, without storing it linked to you; and technical security and operation logs of our servers, which may include the IP address and are kept for a limited time.
We do not request sensitive data or data about children or adolescents. Please do not include this kind of information in your messages.
4. Purposes
- Respond to your requests, questions and quote requests, and contact you about the services you asked for.
- Prepare proposals and enter into and perform the contracts we agree on.
- Manage recruitment processes when you send us an application.
- Send you information about our services and products, including Automation Marketing, only if you authorize it. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- Protect the security of the site and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the forms.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.
5. Authorization
By sending us your data through the site’s forms, by email or by WhatsApp, you give prior, express and informed authorization for its processing for the purposes of this policy, through unequivocal conduct, as permitted by Decree 1074 of 2015. This policy is published on every page of the site so you can read it before writing to us. When you contact us directly by email, phone or WhatsApp, we use your data only to reply to you.
6. Your rights
As a data subject, you may:
- Know, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed about how we have used your data.
- Revoke the authorization or request the deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty requires keeping it.
- Access your personal data free of charge.
- File complaints with the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) once you have completed the inquiry or claim process with us.
7. How to exercise your rights
Write to privacidad@ataraxiait.com or send a written request to the address in section 1. These requests are handled by the administrative area of AtaraxIA IT.
Inquiries: we answer within ten (10) business days from receipt. If that is not possible, we will tell you why and when we will answer, which will not exceed five (5) additional business days.
Claims (correction, update, deletion or alleged non-compliance): include your identification, a description of the facts, the address or email for our reply and any supporting documents. If the claim is incomplete, we will ask you to complete it within five (5) days; if two (2) months pass without it being completed, we will consider it withdrawn. We will resolve it within fifteen (15) business days from the day after receipt; if that is not possible, we will tell you why and when, which will not exceed eight (8) additional business days.
8. Providers and international transmission
To operate the site we use technology providers that process data on our behalf as processors: Amazon Web Services (site hosting, form reception and sending and receiving email, with servers in the United States) Google (company email) and Anthropic (the language model our virtual assistant answers with, with servers in the United States). This involves an international transmission of data, which we carry out to countries with an adequate level of protection or with the safeguards required by Colombian law.
We do not sell or assign your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
9. Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical, human and administrative measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted cloud storage and access restricted to authorized staff.
We keep data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described and our legal obligations. Applications that are not selected are kept for up to twelve (12) months for future processes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Technical logs of the forms are kept for thirty (30) days.
10. Cookies and storage in your browser
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics tools. We only store your language preference in your browser and, if you use the chat, the identifier of your conversation (to continue it) and a mark that you have already seen the assistant’s greeting. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings.
The map in the contact section is loaded from Google Maps, a service that may use its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy. The links to LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook take you to third-party services with their own policies.
11. Effective date and changes
This policy is effective from October 31, 2026. If we change it substantially, we will publish the new version on this page with its effective date. The databases will remain in force for as long as they are needed for the purposes described.
