What People Usually Ask Us
Do I need to install anything?
Not to get started. The till and the console run in the browser; on tablets and phones the till installs as an app and on computers it runs in kiosk mode. Only if you use peripherals the browser can’t reach, such as serial-port printers, cash drawers or scales, is a lightweight agent installed on that device.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Each till has its own numbering block, so it keeps selling offline. When the internet comes back, it syncs on its own and never duplicates a sale.
Which barcode scanners work?
Almost any: USB or Bluetooth scanners, HID-POS and serial-port scanners. If you don’t have a scanner, the camera of a tablet, phone or computer reads 1D and 2D codes: EAN, Code 128, QR and DataMatrix.
How is the electronic invoice issued?
The till builds the electronic document with its CUFE or CUDE and the QR code, and sends it to the DIAN through your company’s platform or a technology provider. If the service does not respond, the till switches to contingency mode and the sale is never blocked.
Can I have several stores and brands?
Yes. Each company has its own brand, vocabulary, taxes and payment methods, with the stores and tills of its plan. If you run several brands, each one can work as an independent company within the platform.
What happens when the trial ends?
You choose the plan that suits your business and keep selling; your data and settings are kept. You can pay month by month or for the full year with 2 months free. Since the trial requires no card, there are no automatic charges.
Is my data safe?
Yes. AtaraxIA Facture runs 100% serverless on AWS, with each company’s information isolated, encrypted and backed up. Even if a till is lost or damaged, your sales are not.
Can I migrate from my current system?
Yes, without stopping your operation: migrate till by till, in batches or a whole store at once, keeping your numbering, and if something doesn’t go as expected you roll it back with one click.
